This is the shavemac custom Americana brush that is a dream brush for gentlemen who face lather. The two-band silvertip brush has a dense 24mm knot with a 50mm loft, with good backbone and soft tips. No shedding that I recall. The brush is a pleasure to hold and to lather with. I bought it several months ago specifically for face-lathering, but shortly afterwards, I switched to bowl lathering. Go figure. The brush is ideal for both face and bowl lathering, but I think those who face lather will appreciate it more. The brush has been used about seven or eight times.
