Hey everyone, I was hoping to get a few recommendations on some shave soaps that have a noticeable Juniper scent. A couple of soaps that have quickly become two of my favorites are CRSW Juniper and P&B Spitfire so I thought I would maybe try a couple other soaps that have Juniper in them as well. Any Recommendations are appreciated.

Captain's choice North is supposed to be juniper scented, but to my nose it is a weak spiced smelled soap. Maggards sells samples though, so you could try it out. I'll be interested to see what suggestions others have.

Fitjar fjellheim is good. I recommend the cream over the soap. I'm guessing Stirling's Gin & Tonic is relatively juniper forward too, with other notes in the blend obviously.

Baker Street is supposed to have a lot of juniper. I have the Strop Shoppe version and like it a lot. The Stirling Soaps version supposedly upped the juniper, too..

Hi, Cade by L'Occitane hard soap is a juniper based one. It dries a bit the skin, but has a powerful lather and huge mileage as it seems a triple milled, well harder than MWF. Veggie base soap. Very good. Soft scent, as most of the hard soaps.

Mystic Water makes good stink!

"Bergamot, Cedarwood & Juniper
New formula. An essential oil blend with bergamot citrus peel oil in the foreground, supported by woodsy Virginia cedarwood and accented with a resinous, spicy, herbaceous touch of juniper berries. These particular essential oils are especially recommended for oily skin. Essential oils and lanolin."

I forgot about that one. Good call. I'm a big fan of mystic waters soaps. They are great performers.

Can I ask someone to help describe the scent of juniper? Is it woody, like cedar, pine or fir? I'm not sure if I like it b/c I truly don't know how to identify it!

I'm not a gin man ... but I do have a bottle of Hendrick's in the cabinet! I guess I now know the scent of juniper!
