We got significant amount of snow within 2 days my
Tuned 15hp Husqwarna works like a charm  Happy2

Spraying some Pam Spray oil on auger helps to shoot snow a lot faster yet prevents and inhibits rusts.

I have only had to use my snowblower once this winter, but winter is not over. That snow was really heavy and did not project well from the spout. Your Pam tip might have made things easier. Thanks for the suggestion.

Winter is never over around here, it just eases up for a few months between May and August.

That’s it works fantastic Happy2 I did fully tuned my Huaqwarna Snowblower, vortex modified propeller, engine, &  including muffler it’s very quiet you can barely hear it running lol, also my clothes don’t smell fumes lol which I appreciate very much.

I didn’t mention it didn’t have drain pipe, it had only two bolts on each side of little engine block that’s it I looked at and said to my self what happened here did somebody fall  asleep while assembling this snow blower lol I even call husqwarna and told em that they are laughing but they agreed it’s true it was a mistake on this series and production that I cought it actually..they send me little piece that’s treads in but wasn’t long enough to drain oil.

Went to Home Depot bought Brass Fitting and end Cap problem solved, but we have to be careful how we do as it can crack on engine block if forecefully treaded pipe in..many folks don’t think about it..and later summer months come oil leakage lol..

Husquavarna should hire you as technical advisor. Their stuff is usually top notch. Without the modification you made would you have to suction oil out? I have a Honda snowblower and it runs well. Plug in electric start which I hardly ever use because it starts on one or two easy pulls of manual start. Only problem I’ve had us broke the scraper bar helping out a neighbor. They had big rocks lining the driveway and I went a little wide and bang rocks broke the sacrificial plastic part of the scraper. Sad  I’m not crazy about the self-propelled drive mechanism. The auger paddles are rubber edged and when you tip the unit forward they engage the ground and pull you forward. Too much and it can unbalance you, not enough and it doesn’t go anywhere. It’s still better than shoveling those bug dumps though.

I like to work on small engines and had done in past on old Techumseh engines which were ok lol, but I like husqawarma their small engines are decent and they don’t fume as bad compare to Briggs and Clubb Caded..oh my gosh all my clothes have to wash after lol..

I did some modifications for my self only as I like to have quiet Engine even at the full throttle, as per auger I changed it, it’s vortex with bend rubber at the end which result to shoot snow little higher and better Performace this is custom made and it’s all painted and professionally done in shop…I will take some photos and show you it’s very nice Stainless steel and it’s powder coated..

I will attach a photo here of my drain pipe you can see on photo which husqwarna didn’t resolve issues particularly on this model and I know quite few folks same issue same compliant lol..

Best Regards
