Simpson Shave Creams

Gents,

I have used the Simpson Unscented shaving cream once, and the Simpson Bay Rum Ultra-Glide shaving cream three times now.  I have been very impressed with all of the normal metrics people use to described creams/soaps.  I especially am quite a fan of the Bay Rum’s fragrance...absolute home run to my nose.

Below are the pictures from today’s shave.  I used about six milliliters of distilled water to make that lather in a bowl.



Does anyone else have any thoughts, or photos to share of these great creams?

I am a fan of the Simpson shave creams in the aluminum tubs.

Can you compare the new version to the old?  If not, how’s the slickness of the new one?

Unfortunately, I can’t compare the new vs the old.  I have new versions of the Unscented in the metal tin, and the Bay Rum and Lime versions of the ultra-glide in plastic containers.  They all seem to have great slickness for me, and I don’t really have any complaints.  The lime fragrance isn’t the greatest, but pleasant enough.

I love Simpsons products !

Has anyone tried the post shave balms?  The fragrance of the Bay Rum cream is so fantastic, I might have to buy one of the balms to match!
