Shout Out to a Fantastic Artisan Brush Maker - Billy Goat Brushworks

Giving some props today! I received this work of art in the mail a couple of days ago from an incredible artisan brush maker, my pal George, the insanely talented man behind Billy Goat Brushworks in Brisbane, Australia. There were a bunch of reasons why I wanted this 26mm brush, mainly because of its massive size, ergonomic handle shape and the fact that this brush, aptly named “Leftovers”, was created from a blank of leftover resin George had been collecting little by little over time. When he had collected enough resin to create a brush handle, he created THAT! So there is a little bit of a lot of other brushes in this brush and that reason, combined with how gorgeous it turned out, sent me on a mission to own it. I now have two Billy Goat Brushworks shaving brushes and I couldn't be happier with them! I'm a big fan of bulb style synthetic knots and that's what he gave me (he has lots of fantastic knots, both animal hair and synthetic to choose from). I highly recommend checking George's Etsy store out (https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/BillyGoatBrushworks) because not only are his designs beautiful and comfortable, but he's a heck of a nice guy doing what he loves to do down unda! Thank you George for making my shaves that much more enjoyable (and your brushes look great next to our razors!)
