This is not a good idea to risk. If found it's confiscated so not worth the risk to me. I've used Gillette Guards and while not a great razor, thet are cheap and will get you thru. A cheap user grade injector you could live without would be a better shave and tolerable risk to me.

Lipripper660 is this a razor you would do a typical 3 pass shave with? Thanks

Yep it is or a really good two pass.  It’s cheap, sharp, and carry-on able.  Get them from eBay.  A cart gets me through about 5 days. Tolerable shaver. Gap is big enough that clogging is not an issue

True - particularly about the OneBlade and Vector - the question was driven more by curiosity than practicality. Right about a cheaper injector. Might just now get a Guard to try it. One of these days, I’ll be traveling again and I often don’t check anything.

So injectors are ok for carry on, blade and all?

No, I didn't say that but if taking a risk I would rather take a good shaving $10-15 injector that is easily replaced compared to a $200 Vector. It may be one that gets thru since the blade isn't easily removed like a de but I don't know. I never cared for the Gillette Guard myself.

Good point Dave in KY and keto

I think worst thing that could happen is that you just have to toss the blades at security (and keep the hardware)

A few years ago, I flew from Las Vegas to London with an unloaded Mühle R41 and a bunch of blades in my carry-on. Not a word from TSA. However, as I was about to continue from London to Helsinki, the female security officer: 1) Took all my blades but let me keep the R41. 2) Was completely flabbergasted that anyone would shave with such a device in this day and age.

If it’s a longer stay and you want to enjoy your shaves using a nice razor, my advice would be to disassemble the razor before packing it in a carry-on (which is less likely to get lost than checked luggage) and pack any blades in checked baggage — or buy them at the destination. Otherwise, Guard, Sensor, Trac II etc. is probably the way to go.

Ok, you didn't say that, so I won't call you when I'm in customs jail for having a injector razor, missing my flight.
I'll probably just continue to pack the blades in my check in baggage with the razor in carry on.
