We probably couldn't have a sit down meeting, because those goat eyes would spook us too much!

My wife emailed the appeal person at the insurance company, asking for all records and documents used to determine the denial. She got a response this morning, stating that her case was still pending and the denial letter was sent in error. So we have a glimmer of hope. But I fully expect the insurance company will deny based on cost, and blow smoke at us again about unapproved by FDA. I will be positive for my wife, but I am willing to bet this is a delay tactic. I don't know. Just tired of the ups and downs, with my wife's health deteriorating before our eyes. Sorry for the Eeyore attitude!

In shaving news, the Slim at 5 had a lot more blade feel than I remember, and I didn't like it. Looking forward to the Karve tomorrow, and Yates for the weekend!

Hope you are doing well!

I hear ya. Can absolutely understand the doubt. Still, know we're all rooting and praying for you.

Yeah, the slim wasn't for me either. I'm more surprised mines still here. Oddities.

Let's hope it was a new guy that denied it and they are going to approve after reviewing.................Dave (who rarely has an optimistic view)

Much appreciated! I am hoping, too, that it was the FNG!! And you surprise me with the optismism, as I see you here as one of the most positive members, encouraging and enabling, all in one smooth Kentucky drawl!!! (I don't think you drawl, as I have watched your vids, and detect no Southern drawl, unlike my Memphian wife and in-laws, who sometimes need subtitles to figure out what they mean!!)

thanks again, Dave

Moved from PA to East Tn in 1986 and KY 9 years ago and have just a slight difference maybe that some detect. People here ask where I'm from. I go back to the Philly area to see family and people ask where I'm from. I just say, I don't belong anywhere but yeah no real southern drawl Big Grin

Quick entry, and I will read others later to add my pithy thots!

Late afternoon with the Vector. I managed to over hydrate my lather, but Mike's Natural Soap Unscented still did its job well. Using a light touch, and trying not to add too many strokes, I was rewarded with that most wonderful shave that left my face feeling refreshed, and not a single weeper! I still don't think I can shave daily, yet, but I will keep trying lighter touches.

Well, the Vector shave was so close (and so late in the day) that I am going to skip shaving today. Early day tomorrow, we head to New Hampster for specialist appointment, and hopefully get more info for making our case in order to get the insurance to cover this life-changing and life-saving medication for my wife.
Worked long stretch in order to get tomorrow off, so very tired and slept late to catch up/recharge the batteries!

On a side note, dontcha just love Spring Forward?!
