I don't see much talk or artisans making shaving creams. Honestly my cream use is limited to TOBs and I am much more into the soaps that artisans are putting out. Recently I've been looking into picking up a cream but I'm not sure what to get. Any recommendations?

Ethos Grooming Essentials has some creams and can do pretty much any scent you want in a cream as he does custom orders if you email him. I'm sure there are others that I can't think of immediately but sure others will chime in. Dragonsbeard is on here as well and is the Proprietor

I’ll second that! The creams from Ethos are fantastic! Amazing scents made with only all natural aroma ingredients and stellar performance.
Best way to use is to whip it up in a scuttle (about an almond sized scoop of the cream works well) or apply it right to the face and build a face lather.
Get some. You won’t be sorry…And it’s a serious upgrade to the products you mentioned..
Imo…Ethos has the best cream product out there.

By far best cream I have used is Wholly Kaw. It right there with the Siero soap base in performance. Generally, much prefer soaps though.

I've been moving away from creams in favour of croaps (don't know why) but I still enjoy using Fendrihan's "Aloe Water" cream. Mostly for the scent, I guess.
"A crisp and clean scent of aloe, complimented with lime and musk."

They say it's "Made in England", and I have this theory that it's made by the same people who make the TOBS creams. The lather feels identical to me.
Also, the Fendrihan Sandalwood version was indistinguishable (to me) from TOBS' Sandalwood.

Let me join the chorus of support for ETHOS. You can count on ETHOS for top notch performance and fragrance.

I also recommend Castle Forbes. The Castle Forbes are pricey, but IME they are also reliably top quality in both scent and performance - worth every penny IMO.

The company that makes the shaving creams for the 3 T’s (TOBS, TF&H & GFT) and also for DR HARRIS and for St. James is called Creighton.
They make creams for many other brands. Could very well also make the Fendrihan shaving cream.

I used to own the entire shaving cream lines from DR HARRIS, TOBS, GFT and TF&H.

Sold them many moons ago.

They just can’t compete with great artisan shaving soaps performance wise.

I still own 3 Castle Forbes shaving creams and they perform very nicely, almost on the level of a great tallow artisan shaving soap. Almost, but still not as good.

I also own 6-7 shaving creams from the Austrian based Esbjerg. They are really really good too, perhaps even better than Castle Forbes yet still not as good as the best artisan shaving soaps.

St. James shaving creams are also very stellar shaving creams and made by Creighton, the company behind the shaving creams from the 3 T’s and DR HARRIS. The St. James cream is to me a step above the other shaving creams Creighton make.

Santa Maria Novella used to be a crazy good shaving cream. I’m not sure whether it’s still good though. My jar is still 70% full and dates back to 2012 LOL

Have you ever tried any of the Cremo shaving creams?
I have four; Classic, Bourbon Vanilla, Refreshing Mint & Heritage Red.
It doesn't lather. Don't bother with a brush. But it's slick and it works great and I love it.
Just an idea ...
