Had outstanding shaves on Thursday and Friday and forgot to post them both. I kept the same setup for both days and it was very nice. Relaxing BBS shaves on both days left me feeling great and smelling awesome.

Thanksgiving Day was a small family gathering and we broke away from the traditional dinner choices. Very enjoyable, just a bit different because of The Rona.

Despite the savings, the missus and I will not shop the physical world on Black Friday. It really seems to bring out the worst in people. So instead, my stepson and I went bass fishing. Caught a few fish, but wouldn’t have won any tournament that day. But I did do a bit of internet shopping at Stirling last night and picked up a few things for us and the family. Life is good!

Very nice shave today. Went back to Stirling, which is my go to vendor. The soap has everything you need for a great shave and it’s wrapped up with good aftershaves. And the missus loves the body butter. This is a nice, pleasant scent, but will probably not be a repurchase. I have several Stirling soaps that do make the cut (scent wise) and I need to lighten the stash a bit. With all of that said, it was a nice shave and I’m ready for the day. Life is good!

Today’s shave edition is titled “Ride the Lightening”. Let’s put electrical close to water. What could possibly go wrong? It was brisk this morning and a warm lather sounded nice. Typically I just use hot water to warm up the scuttle, but thought I would try my $1 coffee cup warmer that I picked up from a thrift store. It kept everything warm, but not hot. I started with my typical 30 second load time and added water as I went. This whipped up a nice, slick lather that smelled great. This scent is a keeper.

10 laps on cotton and 40 on leather and it was go time. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. A very nice, relaxing shave and I am BBS for the win! Man that was a great shave! Had a bit of lather left for a post shave lather while I cleaned my shave gear.

Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and pat dry. A healthy splash of the AS and everything was right as rain! This scent has great projection and scent strength. Yup, I’m really digging this scent. So luckily Murphy stayed away and it was a great shave. Life is good!

Very old house, with no GFI outlets. I need to fix that.

Yea you do need to get on with that Tim.  Angel
Code in my county is GFCI in any outlet near sink/tub. Easy swap out. And worth the piece of mind. I’m not an electrician. But I am accident prone. So..... um yea. Confused
