You can remove me from the list. It sounds like this razor is quite mild, so not sure it is up my alley.

Thank you for the opportunity to test, however. This is a wonderful part of the community.

oversaturn , it seem like the red razor is stuck in Portuguese customs since May 25. Did they contact you? Did you try to contact them? If they won't let it though just tell them to ship it back to the sender so I can ship it to the next person after you and he can send it to Portugal.

We learn a lot from this and even leads us to chat about the gap and so between my brother in law, the engineer-artisan, and myself. There will be a 0,5 gap head in brass in the future, cause by now the workshop can't derive resources from the main activity, as this is our hobby, no the business. Thanks again, friends, and don't hesitate in criticize the stuff. I like better off a Gillette New LC golden than ours. And ours in brass the OC is close to that Gillette. My favorite handle is one from Wilde&Harte, so... Have a nice shave and keep your preferences just until another razor can change them.

Saludos Thalasos . ¿Tienen alguna estimación aproximada de cuándo se puede producir la maquinilla de afeitar de latón con un hueco de rasqueta más agresivo ? ¡Aclamaciones!
Greetings Thalasos. Do you have any rough estimate of when you might produce the brass razor with a more agressive blade gap?  Cheers!

Hello, Asafiev. I have no news about another model; the workshop is focusing on business clients and there is no time to work with new designs and tests. Also there is no stock and some people is waiting for their own razors. At least nobody pay before the razor is available, just when is close to be dispatched. Greetings.

My 2¢

Finish (Head, Handle, Weight):
I have no issues with the finish.  The handle has an excellent grip that is very comfortable to use.  I love how light this razor is, it was a refreshing departure from the heavy metal razors in my collection.  The design is easily identifiable / stands out from the crowd.

Efficiency [Mild, Aggressive]:  More aggressive that an EJDE89, more blade feel than an ASD2.  This razor is very efficient and I agree it could use a mild bump in the blade gap to help deliver its full potential.  I experienced no irritation and agree that this razor is hard to steer wrong.

Value:  If ordered directly from Seygus the price would be $98.00 (shipping included) to your door.  Shave Nation has added a markup of $32.00 to raise the total price to $130.00.  Considering how unique this razor is, build quality, family "mom and pop" style background, I would pay the $98.00.  I hesitate at the Shave Nation price.

Ease of Use [blade angle, loading blade, etc.]:  The blade guide is nice and high making loading the blade a breeze.  Very easy to use, good thread quality, etc.

Bottom Line:  I now want one.  This razor has a lot of character and is unique.  I don't own anything like it and did not anticipate loving it as much as I do. It is an easy going, smooth razor that is simply a lot of fun to use.

Well.. no need to do so, Cihan!

My wife just phoned me right now telling that the razor just landed - finally! Smile Happy2

No issues or taxes or any kind of problem - "just" a slow Customs procedure, that's all. Confused
