Left to Right, with the Trotter Handcraft Communion handle.
Finest 2 band synthetic 30mm, 3 color synthetic 30mm, handle, 2 band synthetic 28mm, white fan 26mm, black thick hair synthetic 28mm.

A 2 or 3 color will most likely be set in the Communion handle. I thought a Cashmere would look good, but no one had a 28mm. I have a 30mm from AP Shave, but it is a smidge too big.

Can the sides of the knot be sanded or filed to make them a smidge smaller? I may try something like that Monday. I get a vibe like this could be stupid, sort of a, "Hold my beer, I saw this in a cartoon" feeling!

Thanks. Will do. In the meantime, I messaged Stan Łowicki about it.  He said, “...its dimensions are similar to the Colonial razors, but it has more blade exposure. On a scale of 1-10, I rate her aggressiveness at a maximum of 6. I had a good shave with Guard blades. I do not recommend the Feather Super Professional (white dispenser), they are too thick.”

Hi Eric,

Yes, you can carefully sand the walls of the knot socket. Try 150 or 220 grit and wet sand. I would recommend putting blue painters tape on the top rim of the handle to protect it from scratches.

Hey Paul,
I was thinking of the glue bump, not the socket, as I think it is perfect! The worry is that will sanding the bump lead to lots of shedding! Live and learn, I say, but I appreciate any pointers folks may have.

Oh, sorry I mis-read your post. I now see you want to sand the actual knot… I wouldn’t do it, but hey, that’s me!

Not shaving-related, but interesting, I think. A 100-year-old silver glasses case. It's too small to hold my own glasses, so I'll have to think of something else to keep in it.
