I'm a sucker for almond fragrance, so I got some Col. Conk Almond aftershave balm. And I don't cut myself often, but when I do I like to have Clubman styptic pencils at hand.

Derek - WildWestBrushworks and I worked on the design of this handle. He's been pleasure to work with. I'll be installing a Romera 26mm Manchurian knot in it.

I got a special delivery from Canada Post yesterday - in addition to my package from Top of The Chain containing Declaration Grooming/Chatillon Lux Vide Poche soap, Mickey Lee Panty Dropper and Phoenix & Beau Coda and Trafalgar soaps I also received a hit and run caving in of my Honda van's driver side door and slider door.  And it was a hit and run too!!  The guy never rang the bell, just dropped the package on the step, crunched my vehicle and took off.  I never saw him actually do it but I recovered some distinctive pieces of the delivery van he left behind.  I have little confidence in getting anything from Canada Post or much help from the local Police which is too bad because this has been a great van.  Its an 02 with 350,000 kms on it.  It took the kids to school and us on holiday for years, basketball tournaments for my son all over Western Canada and into the US to Spokane several times and Salt Lake City.  It took my daughter to her first day of grade 1 and she drove it herself to her first day of university - I thought that was really cool, my daughter not so much.  If we make an insurance claim they'll write it off so I'll have to figure a way to get some cash and keep the vehicle.  Its in perfect running condition and everything works.  I love that van.  I shaved with the P&B Coda today, its nice too. Sad

Very sorry about the car, Marko. I’ve heard bad things about Canada Post before. Looks like they are hard at work trying to find ways to branch out into new levels of suckage…

Thanks Matsilainen - so it would appear. I got a call from a representative today and while he was very nice, guess what? The driver denies everything. I expected that so not really surprised. If I could get access to the vehicle I could match the broken parts and at least have circumstantial evidence but I doubt that will happen. The representative said they'd inspect the vehicle.

On a more positive note, I had a great shave this morning Big Grin
