I approve of this post, considering I ordered 3 packs / 90 blades from Rakuten Japan, cost was around $33 with shipping

Um, Feather and Kai blades are Japanese blades.

That's not a bad price for 90 blades.

As we know, especially with blades, what may work great for one may prove to be awful for another.  For me, these Japanese artist club blades were a revelation compared to some of the Feather and KAI blades I tried.  Go figure. Rolleyes

I'm taking a chance and just ordered two packs from them, using the slow mail method.

I used the cheap shipping method and it took 11 days to arrive.

That would be just about perfect.

I find the prolines to be about 80% as sharp as the feather pros but much more forgiving.

I just tried a proline for the first time this morning in the General. My go to blade has been the Feather Pro Guard. The proline is definitely not as sharp but is certainly sharp enough. Very smooth and forgiving.
