Nice picks! I have used 3 of the 5. My favorites out of 20 plus scents I tried from PAA are Speakeasy, Deja Fougere, Sangre de Drago, Al-Fin, and all of the oud scents.

Please let us know what you think of them. I've been meaning to try Sandalwood so look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Hello everyone. Can anyone suggest a sandalwood aftershave?  I do not like sweet.  I'd like something that lasts a long time maybe even cologne. I'm getting tired of the same old same old time to Branch out. It really has to be a real earthy spicy manly fragrance

I embarked on a mission to find a long lasting, true sandalwood aftershave a couple of months ago.   I bought at least 10 samples from various makers, but all of them smelled more like perfume than sandalwood.    Captain's Choice has the smell I was looking for, but the scent dissipated a couple of minutes after splashing it on.    

I was almost at the point of giving up when I ordered a sample of WSP Sandalwood.     Now this AS smells like real Sandalwood, it has staying power, the ingredients are great and it soothes the skin after a shave.    I never got around to order PAA's sandalwood AS - that was the next (and probably the last) sandalwood sample I was going to try.  

One of the aftershave samples I received, D.R. Harris Sandalwood, does not smell like sandalwood at all, but it is now one of my favorite (and best) aftershaves I own.   If you are not looking for a true sandalwood scent you might want to give this one a try.

I don't really have a large collection of aftershaves and I'm looking to correct that weakness right now I've got a couple of royall aftershaves a bunch of Avon, Old Spice and one or two from catie's bubbles so I am going on a mission and I'm going to try and hit up all the manufacturers for samples once I get them I'm going to try them evaluate them and give my opinion. My main preference is a very masculine scent nothing sweet has to be spicy & rich and must be a chick magnet.... my favorite cologne of all time is Braggi. if anyone's ever used that then you know where I'm coming from 2 would be Arammis maybe Halston but nothing comes close to Braggi. It's still available on eBay but people want crazy prices for it. I just might have to spring for some. Braggi is what James Bond would wear and I'm talking about Sean Connery not the other clowns.

I also went to the health food store the other day and they have Sandalwood essential oil a little 5 ml bottle was almost $30 I'm really thinking about springing for it then making my own.... if I do this I would like to send some people little samples to test it

Another one to check out is RazoRock Santal Royale. One of my favorite scents.

I've got 5 samples coming from PAA so I want to test those first then go to the next Manufacturer

Okay gang got the samples of cologne after-shave from PAA not very impressed the Sangre de Drago kind of sweet not really a great scent. CAD... fair at best....Gandolier... smells like Aqua Velva or Mennen skin bracer not impressed..... Club guy not impressed the only one I would really wear is the Sandalwood very nice smell....on to the next manufacturer6
