I haven't tried many sandalwood scents yet but i always get compliments on Fines Santal Absolut, which is a dupe of AOS Sandalwood.
My success rate with that scent is damn near 100%.
Taylor is another one I've tried, can't go wrong with either IMO

I just realized that for some time now I have not had ANY sandalwood soap in my regular rotation. I really miss that fragrance.

Does the TOBS Sandalwood soap smell different from the cream?
I've only smelled their soap (a couple years ago) and it had no wood/sandalwood or outdoors/natural scent whatsoever.

I love my AoS tallow Sandalwood. Got it when a company was selling the remaining pucks after the reformulation a few years ago.

I'd rather invest in a good sandalwood frag, and my favorite there is probably Villoresi. Santal Noble is good too.

Was this a tough question, or one of those "we don't ask that" kind of things?

I haven't smelled both. The cream smelled nothing like sandalwood.

Thanks!
Then it's possible the soap and cream smell identical.
