No, I wouldn't expect that. Price is already very good IMO. $99 for such a great razor system is excellent. But considering the fact that they will move production to lower the cost and maximize the profit, producing more razors, economies of scale etc., that's a logical thought. Price could be different.
Like I previously said, OneBlade is also made in China. That didn't stop them from asking hundreds of dollars for a razor...
I'm a big fan of Rockwell due to their combo of price and quality. I have a new R1, the lower end butterfly, and the 6C. Both are very high quality. Part of my business will be working to convert cartridge users to safety razor shaving and I haven't been able to find anything as good at their price points. I also like their shave brushes and they have styptic packs that look like a pack of matches.
I don't think of Rockwell as making a craftsman product. My straight razors, Brad Sears shaving brushes and Stirling soaps are what I think of as craftsman products. We are all personally making the product.
I think of Rockwell as a manufacturing company that has done a good job in managing quality and price. Sadly, I think it is probably true that China has more sophisticated metal injection moulding than the US. I consider it a grave error that the US has allowed itself to fall behind in manufacturing technologies in many areas, though that is a whole different topic.
I don't track stainless double edged razors the way that a lot of folks here do, though gather that $100 is a great deal for a completely stainless razor.

With all due respect, wrong. I, for one, will stop advocating for this razor if they move manufacturing of the 6S to China. I have been a very active supporter on at least one site but that will cease. So I care and I am a part of the market FWIW.

I agree with you, but you and I are probably the only 2 out of every 100 people that don't shop at Walmart either. The other 98 will continue to buy anyway.

In 30 years of selling products in the jewelry, watch, & shaving area to retail customers...VERY few care where.

I think that has been shown by the American consumer over and over and over for decades now. I try and buy from people who make products made in the US, but I wouldn't be able to watch TV, talk on my phone, or be on this MB for the most part if I stuck to that.

Hello everybody,
Have tried out of boredom all 6 plates edited.
At first I polished down, but did not like it at all.
then sandblasting gun machiner, abrasive grain of copper slag, I had not had glass beads, unfortunately. Now it looks almost true to the original.
Right to compare ATT R1
