I asked him about that a while back and he said he tests the soaps before the video to see how much they can take. At least that was the case for the soap I asked about back then. I could not do that, even knowing how well my soaps hold water. Some soaps cannot take water added that fast, Mystic Water comes to mind. That is an awesome soap that requires water to be added slowly. Still, it seems to be working for him so far, but I don't see how every soap he uses can be lathered that way.
