Try a blade that's not so aggressive, also don't apply lots of pressure let the razor do the work for you, and make sure the angle is correct

I realize that this thread started a long time ago, but now you can buy just the German 37 head, for $15.29 CAD, for even less of a gamble. Just the sort of thing you could throw in the cart to bump your order up enough for the free shipping.

As far as the "37" in the name goes, I don't think there's any confusion with it being mistaken for a Merkur brand, and it tells you exactly what it is supposed to be a knock-off of.

The Chopper is an apt nickname for the razor. RRG37S OC is a tool which delivers everytime, sometimes for me a single pass on 2 day growth is enough to get it done. The razor is constructed well and priced in the economical sweet spot. Do not thrown off due it'd slant nature and perception of agreession, it's a playful tiger cub.
