Hi just wondering if anyone has any advice how to reshape badger hair after you use it as IV noticed sometimes when the knot has dried the shape looks abit funny, I normally gently towel dry the brush then comb it and the try to reshape the knot by hand before I hang it upside down on my brush stand to dry. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know
Are you using the same brush every day? Since natural hair brushes absorb water into the hairs/bristles, I like rotating brushes so they get a chance to dry completely between uses.
Also, make sure you remove ALL of the lather from the knot after each use. I like using the plunger method to clean my brushes. I plunge the brush up and down in a bowl of water to force water down into the knot to remove lather that gets trapped in the base of the knot. If there is any lather left near the glue bump, it can cause the brush shape to distort as the knot dries.
