Hey guys I am curious if y’all have any recommendations for a US made SR. I have Solingen, Sheffield, and a Spanish SR’s and I would love to get a US made one.
Also I would like to try out a quarter hollow grind since all of mine are full hollow grind SR’s.

I think Max Sprecher does quarter to half hollow razors.  He did a restore for me, and his work is first class blow your mind craftsmanship!

The chap at Shavesmith also makes some nice razors!  The one with the cocobolo scales below is near wedge.

Sprecher x1000. Great work and a great guy. Tim Zowada is the other guy I would recommend.

I was looking at getting a Max Sprecher, but I didn’t know what the different options meant. Like the difference between a value and premium and the file work.

I would call Max. A simple phone call would answer all this for you and probably help steer you in the right direction for you, your facial hair, budget etc.

I would echo what others have said about Max: he is very responsive and has a reasonable turnaround time.  If you are willing to go through a bit more of the waiting and challenge of getting random drops, I have also enjoyed razors Joe Edson and Shavesmith.  All are really good, but for the cleanest style, I like Max.

Living on the edge
I am not a customer of anyone mentioned from the US.
I would suggest you take a look at Brian Brown Razors
his prices are pretty reasonable for non custom stuff.
But Ive heard he does take breaks from time to time.
