I make a post shave moisturizing balm that I thought some of you may be interested in trying. It is particularly good for those who have sensitivities to scents. It is scent-free...and all natural. For the longest time I have been using a 50/50 mixture of unrefined shea butter and coconut oil. I modified this mixture today and I was quite pleased with the results.
2 Tbsp. unrefined shea butter
1 Tsp. coconut oil
2 drops vegetable glycerin
2 drops liquid lanolin.
Microwave until melted...pour into container and let cool. Feels great on my skin. I find as I age, I need to moisturize my skin...especially post shave. If you prefer, you could easily add a few drops of an EO to provide a scent...eg. lavender or rose. I prefer an unscented balm...because I often wait an hour and then put on a scented ASB.
