I have the Titanium and like it and kept it. I’d agree with other reviewers here that that razor gives an easy 3 pass BBS but that the BBS usually doesn’t last as long. I’ve used it several days in a row - even got 23 shaves out of a single Gillette Silver Blue (a record) with it before and 19 another time. It can also take down a few days growth without issue. Good razors, but on the milder side.

Went in and decided to write up my thoughts on my 2nd shave tonight with the RR BBS Stainless. I’ll keep it short and sweet. As Shavemd posted earlier, I can’t say that the duration of my shave lasted a certain amount of hours. I shaved yesterday at about 5:30 pm and I woke up this morning at about 4:30 am and did feel some light stubble. Feint but, there nonetheless on face & neck. Can’t give a time frame of duration as it was lights out for me at 10:30 pm. I was clean as a whistle when the eyes shut. Perhaps in the weekend I can get a day shave in and gauge duration. Needless to say, this will not give you a deep and super close shave say, a la Timeless .95 or an Ikon Tech but, that’s not what the BBS Stainless was designed to do. If that’s what you’re looking for, move on because this ain’t your champ.

Anyhow’s to the shave. And I think this shave was actually a bit better in both smoothness and efficiency than yesterday’s shave. I used a bit more skin stretching and shorter quick strokes and got a wonderful 2 pass plus minor chin buff BBS finish everywhere including the toughest spot for me which is both sides of Sir Adam. I performed a couple touch up strokes there and not a single whisker straggler left behind. Again, no irritation to speak of and just an easy smooth and comfortable shave. This is really an easy to use daily and is actually easier to get the cut angle and keeping it there than with the Mamba .70 imo. A definite shave off between the two is in the works along with a few other GC’s to throw in for giggles.....

Are you not in the USA Glazedboker? That AS is Euro exclusive I believe.

Yes. It’s an a/s splash for the European market. I have a good friend who works for the European division of the company I work for (Bulgaria) and she sent me a few bottles as she knows I’m an avid fragrance and after shave collector. Nice product but, not as bracing or in your face as some of the products designed for us “Westerners”.

I honestly like the shave from the Ti Baby Smooth more that the BBS. I shaved the same way I do with the Ti and while this razor is definitely safer and super smooth(Like really, really smooth), I didn’t find it as efficient(it’s close though).

I will keep shaving with it to see if there are any improvements on my part and to choose what to do with it. One thing is for sure though, the angle of blade makes my skin feel really good after the shave. The Mamba and GC always make my skin feel a little irritated. The Ti Baby Smooth and BBS feel great after the shave.

I own the Titanium version of this razor.  Is there any notable shave improvement with the Stainless model that between the 2....that would force me to purchase one?

I understand the weight difference in the head, which does alter the shave technique slightly. There should be no difference in the head design or blade gap.

I prefer a lightweight razor, but I do love the weight of my (2 & 3 piece) Stainless razors and use them as frequently as my lighter weight razors.  In the end, this may boil down to personal preferences and the beauty of the Stainless version over the Titanium version.

The design is tweaked a little. To me it felt smoother, safer , and slightly less efficient than the Ti. But I’m not good at comparisons, just going by the end result on my face.

For me there was no discernible difference in smoothness with the WTG and XTG pass but a little more blade feel ATG still very smooth but definitely a little more blade feel. Again I received a very easy BBS and I whipped the razor quickly across my face with no issues.
Now it remains to see how long this BBS lasts.

If it’s not too much trouble, can you share a quick opinion on this razor compared to the .68 timeless? Thanks you. I read a lot of the same things said about the .68 timeless.

Quick face check 10 hours out and no stubble yet, Blade? or maybe better technique with more familiarity? Either way great shave. I will try to do a side by side with my Ti Timeless .68.

Nice shot.
Bravo.

Normally I do not like SS razors.
And the RazoRock BBS looks actually the same as the aluminium Baby Smooth.

Just to understand, what are the specs of the parts:
- handle lenght
- total lenght
- head weight
- handle weight
Never seen a well balanced razor (weight ratio 1:1) in stainless steel.

This kind of shaver is the best option I have.
Three teachers tell me this is THE CHOICE to have a full comfort, long lasting, true baby butt shave:
• Physics, long and light handle helps to control the cutting angle and works better with good technique
• Physiology, three passes magage all deviation of hair growing for an actual BBS
• My dermatitis, less stress give best results even on problematic skin

I've found the one for me.
I call it PP1489, a hybrid (frankenrazor) with aluminium handle and zamak head.
Always a great BBS with this, with fast and effortless shave.
Any problem even to find it and pay.
And It's nice in SOTD too ...

Great first shave with the BBS. I used a Feather blade and could hardly tell it was cutting. Extremely smooth razor and excellent results. I never owned the Baby Smooth so nothing to compare it with but for the money it does its job very well.
