You feel sorry for people that don't own a certain brand of razor? LOL I feel sorry for you then.

Show me where I can get a polished BB with both plates (new!) for $230, and I'll be all over it.

Gentleman enough is enough the purpose of this thread was to let people know that Raw Shaving is closed. Obviously there are people who appreciate the razor and others who don’t. For the members who have purchased one or were planning on getting one the company is no longer in existence. Why some members feel that they must always focus on a negative is beyond me. My point was to Thank Avi for his design of a razor I appreciate and to Thank him for his wonderful customer service. No wonder the number of new members to the wet shaving community is declining when a simple Thank You Post is overtaken by negative minded individuals if I was new to this hobby I would move on. If you didn’t buy or want the Raw Shaving Razor move on and spend your time encouraging new members into this community with what ever Razor you enjoy.

I feel sorry for those who do not get to experience the razor. Ppl can own what they want and ymmv but this razor is great and I think it’s a shame the company is out and not more people couldn’t have enjoyed it and or tried it

We'll miss Avi. Didn't know him personally - but the launch of the Razor and the website were fantastic. I do a couple of websites and Raw Shaving had a lot of moving parts - plenty of code. Thanks Raw Shaving for what you did for the community and showing us how good a razor could be. The very best of luck in future endeavors.

Seriously! This kind of behavior was discouraged in grade school Move on to something productive instead of attacking other members

I never had a chance to try one out but im always bummed when a vendor closes their doors or stops producing a specific product. I mostly own premium razors but sadly this one was a bit out of my price range. If I had the money on-hand I would have definitely purchased one given the outstanding reviews.

We still don't know why they've decided to close up shop. I wonder if they simply sold off the company to a high-end brand that sells to retailers like Neiman Marcus. It would make sense as they could start mass producing these while improving profit margins.

In any case, they made some beautiful looking razors. They will be missed.

IF you look at the Neiman Marcus website (I found a link TODAY on the Weather Channel, so that would seem rather 'positive' to me), you can put a RS-10 in your cart.
Then, it is shown as Back Order

Expected to ship no later than:

Date Unavailable

No offense, but a $360 razor is not going to either be "mainstream" or take wet shaving "beyond our niche".

Look, I'm just being positive. As a business owner in this space I think a simple tip of the cap to our fallen brethren isn't too much to ask.  Also, both Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman are decidedly mainstream so no snarky quotations necessary.
