I recently purchased a Dubl duck. I am thinking about getting it restored. Where are some of the places that you have gotten your straight razor restored?

I learned to do them myself but I quit taking on other peoples projects. I recommend if you want to go this route to find a couple junkers to practice on first. I can point you in the right direction to help you get started in repairs, making new scales, learning to hone. But its another big Rabbit Hole.
And watch that Double Duck. The scales are known to turn and start off-gassing. That can destroy the steal of a razor. Rust it up in no time. So just keep an eye on it. Its from the celluloid that the scales are made from.
