Splash, although I do like those balmy splashes like the Chatillon Lux toners and aftershaves or the old B&M Kyovu. I still have some Kyovu both opened and still sealed but unfortunately their shelf stability isn’t good. Sad

I seem to use a splash some days and balm on other days.
Some of the splashes that come with soap sets, seem pretty thick and balm like to me.

I’m a splash guy.
Balms seem too sticky for me, especially in summer.
I have however, begun to appreciate the juicier splashes like Ethos, A&E and Saponificio Varesino.
The A&E and SV can be a bit sticky, but they dry out quick enough.
(The Nivea balms are nice, I just don’t appreciate the scents as much.

IMHO…The Ethos AS is the best post shave product so far.
SHAKE IT BABY!

I will use a balm on occaiaion (when I feel my skin needs some extra moisture in the winter), but I much prefer splashes.

I usually only use an alum block. I find most splashes and balms these days are over sticky.
I’m trying to find a very simply light weight splash.

Good to hear the comments.

Splashes 80% and balms, 20%. I live in a warm weather climate, and splashes do the trick for me.

Mostly splash(with or without alcohol) but always finish with a balm in the colder months.
