please don't respond to private message email alerts

Hi andrewjs18.  FYI:  I just received an email about a PM that was sent to me by mrdoug on 12/07/2023 at 12:16PM.  So if you are tinkering, there are some results.  OTOH, there are other, more recent PMs for which I have not received emails.

also to note, it'll start processing all of the queued up email alerts so it might take a while to clear through the backlog before new and/or newer email alerts go out.

there's 1,151 emails in the queue. I'm going to purge them all here shortly as they're mostly irrelevant at this point..but I also need to update the forum software since I think that'll probably fix the underlying issue.

I realize the PMs may be gone, or if not, then practicality may dictate that they must be purged, but FWIW I save them, primarily as an easy way to keep a discussion record of transactions.

It's just the email notification portion of them that'll get purged, not the actual messages on the forum.

all, I think this is fixed now...I purged all of the old email alerts that were queued up (sorry about that), so we don't have to wait days for the system to process the old email queue.

you should all be getting your email alerts now, starting from anything that was sent around 9pm ET on 12/17/23.
