Verdigris is toxic; if you ingest a rather large enough amount. Most anything copper is, in excess. With contact on the skin, some people might develop contact dermatitis or irritation if they're sensitive to metals (I have a friend that can't wear any metals). Fortunately, I have no such problem. It's like wearing a copper bracelet that turns your skin green from sweating. Like I mentioned earlier, once the process is complete, I wax it all with two applications to both protect the patina - and myself. It's all good.

Thanks so much! I'm quite happy with the results. Of course, I miss it being highly polished also; the aluminum bronze used looks almost like gold when it is.
The thought did cross my mind to hit up a ATT Windows in tellurium copper...
Tremendous job on the razor! It kind of looks like it’s been retrieved from a sunken ship. Really a fascinating look…
The new Above the Tie offerings are beauties, as well, and of course great candidates for a nice aging process.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
