mine just got delivered to customs in miami... it's going to be a nail-biter to find out if it beats the group-buy rex; the model T is still in the stable.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it won't, but that's just me.
I have both coming also so I guess we'll see.

Just got mine in the mail today, and shaved with it an hour ago. Mid shave the adjuster dial did a thing when I tried to go from 1 to 3.. The dial moved around but the head stayed in the same spot, showing a gap between the dial and collar. Twisted it some more then the dial locked up. Then loosened the silo knob and the head snapped to position to match the dial setting and everything worked fine after that. Shaves pretty well; had 3 days growth and did almost my whole head on "1" with the included feather blade.

I hope the issue with the seizing doesn't reoccur, for you. Enjoy the shaves.

Well one shave down. The adjustment dial on mine worked fine. Blade gap/tray was even, etc. I started out on setting 5 like I do with most adjustables. I probably could have set it lower. I only did two passes with some touch ups and was as near BBS as I was going to get without over doing it. I had one or two small nicks that I haven't had in years, but I wasn't being that careful with it either. I just shaved just like I normally do. I am guessing this thing goes from mild to wild settings 1-9. It was a smooth shave though. I expected a burn with the aftershave. None, only a small tingle. Color me impressed after one shave. I had other small cosmetic issues, but I'm tired and going to bed. Maybe later tomorrow.

They have it posted on their website as a pre-order with a 10-15 day wait time. Dirty, rotten scoundrels!
See for yourself.....
