Get both! I used the Vector this morning with a beefier handle and absolutely loved it. My Paradigm will get its first use Sunday morning. I almost used the Paradigm first because so many people are raving about it and it really is absolutely beautiful to behold but I had to be fair and stick to my schedule of what came first and I’m glad I did because the Vector was amazing in use! The Paradigm SE is just staring up at me on my bathroom counter itching to get used so i can’t wait for that one either!!

Did you get a chance to compare the two razors?

Is the head the same size as mongoose?
Do you find it easier to get under the nose etc?
Which do you think is smoother?
Which has a easier grip?

This may not be a easy one to answer - would one be able to sell it right away if it does not suit me?

I agree what you said to get both if a person can afford it or if they're willing to spend the money. For me they are both excellent razors but the paradigm for me is a notch above but also you're paying double the price. Many people are concerned about the size of the head and it's amazing you could see it it's not really that big as it is in the pictures and on the face you don't even notice the size it just glides like ice and shave so smoothly and efficiently. I would say that the paradigm is like a luxury automobile and the vector is like a nimble sports car

Excellent comparison and I should have added “if you can afford to spend the money on both” because in total, that’s a $600 expenditure when purchasing both.

I’m headed out of town for a quick over night tomorrow and to get a valid comparison, I always shave every other day. Trust me, it’s killing me to have to wait because I keep going in to the bathroom when I’m at the house and picking up the Paradigm just to hold it and caress it in my hands!!

I do not know if the guard blades will work in this razor.

What is so different about those blades?

I did a shave off between the 2 and Posted on the Blackland new SE thread. that first impression should answer most of the questions, but to clarify it was not difficult to shave under my nose I just needed to approach it more like i do a gem. I will continue to use both thru the weekend and get a better feel of it but I think rawfox1 summed it up in the Paradigm is a luxury Auto and the Vector is a nimble sports car. Since both razors are still readily available I think that would decrease return on a quick flip.

I just posted this in another Paradigm SE thread for all of those people that think the Paradigm has a big head. It’s no bigger than a Colonial General and because it’s somewhat flat, it’s even smaller.[Image: 64f81f14ea19a7e7f02d974da55cdf75.jpg][Image: a18a3aa9ff233667488b04784500fd80.jpg][Image: 7441348b87b6a347917288ce54afa077.jpg][Image: e1ce95b31f3366a4c462603f25f85f8b.jpg]
