A smooth & efficient shave with the Ti D-back. Feedback from the razor is very nice, not over the top nor muted but, a nice balance where the audible effect is enough to let one know exactly what’s going on at the business end. Easy to maneuver and control anywhere on the face & neck while still having that feel of don’t get too carried away, if that makes any sense to anyone. Truly an enjoyable razor that delivers excellent results.

Great shaves to all…

Agree.
I’ve been using it (almost..) exclusively for daily face shaves since I got it, and really enjoying it.

The razor turned out well - pleasant in the hands. . The feeling of a good Thing. Efficiency/aggressiveness as WR2 1.15 - 1.25 (Paradigm softer)

If we compare the steel version of the Paradigm Diamondback 2019-2020 razor and the Titanium Diamondback, we can say that the razors are the same in terms of efficiency and aggression, but the Titanium Diamondback is more pleasant due to its weight-balance and tactile sensation. The steel version of the razor is unbalanced for me.

The razor was definitely a success.

Any word on when the latest batch of Ti DB will be shipping?

I wonder if upcoming Paradigm releases are impacted by the news that Jake Yates has left Yates Precision Machining to take up a new full-time job. Does anyone know?

Actually, that's not completely accurate. He still runs the business just not on a day to day basis as before. He took on the full time job and still has Yates Precision running. It's in the care of a couple of employees to tend to the daily requirements for machining parts & shave related components. I won't speculate as to why he made that decision based on just pure business motivation related  or more related to a financial one, possibly even both. Point is, he's still involved in the day to day actions when required too

Email received today:

Dear Paradigm Customer:

Thank you so much for your purchase of the Titanium Diamondback and for entrusting me with this project. I’m writing to update you on project and delivery status. The last release sold out, and this one looks to sell out as well. If you know anyone who wants one, this would be a great time to purchase, with the presale still running.

They razors are currently being machined at Yates Precision Manufacturing, after which they will be sent out for polishing. I’m estimating that they will be in the mail to you toward the end of July. As you may know, Jake is ramping up a new engineering job, and he’s running somewhat behind. Rest assured Paradigm is doing everything possible to get your Diamondback into your hands as quickly as possible.

Please feel free to email me directly with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Andrew Andersen
