We're running a special event with prizes including four Kansas City - London Purple Haze Chiefs and a couple of custom brushes (Manic Depression El Dorado and Voodoo Child El Dorado). Here's a link to the page on our site.

It would be really great if we could get some fun discussion going in this thread related not only to the brushes, but also the 1967 Summer of Love, Jimi Hendrix, the trivia questions, other trivia questions, etc. We might even be moved to drop in a prize or two here.

Makes me smile and laugh. The 90's for me though. What a time to be alive and young. Old enough to probably know better and young enough to not care. Before the quickening of technology and helicopter parents.

So cool Ken. Those two brushes are great looking.

Here's my butterscotch collection:

The Buck Rogers, Chief, and El Dorado are all 26mm. The Falstaff, Lotus, PK-47, and Winston Churchill are all 28mm.

Here's the rest of my Paladin's:

These are all 26mm knots, except for the Disco PK-47, it's 28mm.

I was fortunate to capture this Cleo last night:

nodstonothing That is an amazing collection of Paladins! I especially like all of the Butterscotch, I think Paladins "ancient orange" is the nicest I have ever seen. Also love that 28mm Disco PK-47! Enjoy!

This contest is incredible. Thank you for your generosity, Ken. I wasn't around in 1967, but I appreciate Jimi's music and other great performers of his era.

The internet has helped revive classic music in a way similar to traditional wet shaving. My dad recently bought a turntable and has been investing in stereo equipment. I've been able to find some great records for him online and was even able to source one he wanted from Brazil! Every time I return home, we crank it up (driving my mother crazy).

Thank you very much. I also think Ken's butterscotch is the best out there.
