For those that wanted a more aggressive DOC this is it for sure.  It's funny to me though.  You have the original on the mild end, and this one is on the other end.  Not a 10 out of 10 aggressive, but I would give it a solid 8.

JMO though.  I am curious to hear what others think.

Hmm... that sounds great but scares me a bit, Dan. Performance-wise is there another razor you would liken this too?

It feels like a tamer version of of the R41 to me.

Thanks for the feedback. I am tempted to buy the DOC in steel or aluminum but they appear to be completely different razor designs than the original zamack DOC. From your feedback I'd say that they are and I'm not really looking for another aggressive razor right now.

The design is totally different for sure.

That's JMO though. Someone else may think differently. Like I said earlier I would say it's an 8 out 10 aggression wise, but it was very comfortable for me.

To me this is good news, the r41 and the fatip are just as aggressive as the Futur cranked on #6 but once you pass #3 on the Futur the blade starts to chatter.... Looks like the doc evo is made with tight tolerances and will be a great shaver considering it holds the blade stiffer than the Futur. I have shaved with mild razors and got nothing against them but they require much more buffing than a aggressive razors. Looks like the doc evo ss is a razor I would consider because it looks unusual, priced somewhere in the middle price range considering its machined, the only drawback for me right now is the handle, they need to come up with different handle design to compliment the funky looking head design. If I'm going to spend 175 on a razor then I should not try to shop around for matching handle that can cost me 50-100 bucks. Other than that this is the most cool looking yet very eye pleasing razor head I have ever seen! Perfect razor gift for Halloween lol

I heard that the razor is a small notch below R41 aggressiveness, that still makes it super aggressive. In my case that's a good thing, I just dislike the look of the handle and see if they come up with a handle design that will match and compliment the head better than the current handle

The nickel plated one I got is not aggressive at all. I agree about the handle, I stuck an ikon oss handle on it and I like that.
