PAA DOC Evolution Razor aggressiveness

Is the evolution going to come back, because PAA doesn’t currently have it.

I sure hope so. It's one of my top DE razors, along with the Charcoal Goods Level 3, Blackbird OC, Paradigm 17-4, R41 2011, Ikon Tech and ATT H2.

Ha somebody just offered a straight up trade: My game changer for a SS DOC Evolution. Not sure why somebody would do that knowing that there will be a new batch soon.

Wow I hope Douglas will release the SS Evolution soon. I find that for my skin, the double comb shaves the best for me, second is an adjustable razor.

Don't think so since yaqi came out with a DOC from what I have read. Not sure how the yaqi DOC shaves in comparison though since I've never used one.

Well done! After your post, I was thinking about buying a Game Changer so I could swap it for a backup Evo. Now I can enjoy saving some money. As the Evolution is built like a tank, unless I lose it, I should be okay...

I have the aluminum version and wanted the SS version but it sold out before I could come back around to buy it.

The answer to it being made again is no. Expensive to make and a slow seller.

Darn, that’s a shame. Maybe a chrome version of the DOC will have to do.

Those are nowhere near the same razor based on the reviews I've read. The SS version is said to be one of the most aggressive razors out there while the regular DOC is very mild.

Good morning all,

I was badgering Fran from PAA for an Evolution and she was crystal clear that the Stainless Steel is gone. Apparently they were pretty expensive to produce. So the only way to get one is Boards or eBay. Sorry to be the bad news bringer...

Alright then. I will settle for the milder version. That’s better than nothing.
