Overcoming Adversity

To varying degrees, each of us has had to face tough times in life. But I have always admired those who have suffered limb amputation or paralysis but have managed to learn new skills and make significant accomplishments, demonstrating tremendous courage and persistence, like this man. I don't know if I would be able to do so.

That's an amazing story. It reminds me of the late Stephen Hawking, and the adversity he overcame. Stories like this put you in awe of the human spirit and what it's capable of.

Thats an inspiring story. People are capable of amazing feats. And, looking on the bright side, he didn't have to worry about cold toes this time and also saved a ton of weight not needing boots, socks or full length pants.

It is amazing what some folks are capable of.
