Just checked tracking and my Col. Conk Natural Line SS, and Pearl OC Head are on the truck and headed for my mailbox. Looks like an early afternoon shave is in the works.

Pearl needs to work on their quality control. the OC head I recieved had too much blade exposure on one side when it was assembled on my MR-22 handle. I did shave with it and I recieved a couple weepers, one under my nose, and one next to my adam's apple. Upon inspection I found that the holes in the lower plate were oblong and not round. It is a nice looking head when mounted on the MR-22 handle, and the tines being curved down don't scratch my skin. But with the blade exposure on the one side I can't highly recomend this OC head. So I've got a Parker 26C on order from an Ebay vendor that should arrive here next week. The price was right $18.34 with 5 Shark blades. The shave should be better with the Parker. Merry Christmas to all.

primotenor,

You are right.

Mantic 59 told us that months ago.

You are both winners as are those of us who listen to that sage advice.

My Ebay vendor just refunded my payment. I guess there was a problem with his account. Atleast he was honest. Have to get the Parker 26C from a different vendor.

I may still recieve the Parker 26C. The vendor told me she didn't see the tracking progressing to my home during shipping and she thought it was lost and there for refunded my payment. She told me to just keep it and not to worry about the payment if it does show up. My other good new's is that I swapped the top cap from my Maggard's Closed Comb V2 head to the Pearl OC Head and the side to side movement is almost non-existant, and the blade gap is even on both sides. Gonna shave with it this morning and see how it does and then I'll be back with an update. I think it's gonna be a great shave.

Finally found time to shave around mid-afternoon and I do have to say I recieved one almost bbs comfortable smooth shave. It was around 99.9% bbs. I used a Gillette Super Stainless Steel blade from a ten pack that I recieved this afternoon in the mail. Wow Spoilers are smooth. Lathered up with the electric blue Wilkinson soap stick, and then followed my shave up with a splash of generic store brand witch hazel, and cocoa butter moisturizing lotion that also had aloe vera, and vitamin E in it. My face feels great, the Pearl OC head with the Maggard top cap swapped in did an awesome job.
