Trying to squeeze a shave or two in this thread before the month is out. Went with the Karve by Christopher Bradley with the D-OC plate to take on 24 hours of stubble. And it truly did take it down with buttery smoothness and Cool Hand Luke type efficiency. The Rapira is a very smooth match with the Karve and the RR soap provided some excellent suds to lay down the groundwork for super smooth comfort & glide. So, so customer service & communication but, they do make one hell of a razor.

Their OC plates really do mow down the beard with smoothness. I have there OC-G plate and it is still very smooth. I agree their razors are among my favorites but I did have som issue getting in touch when I placed my order. When I did make contact, it was more consistent and my order was perfect when it arrived. I have yet to try the Rapira with any of my Karves. I have always liked the Platinum Lux.

The Monobilt by Cooper with a Gillette 7 O’Clock SS (Green) locked & loaded. A really nice shaver that is both smooth & efficient. Perhaps a tad less efficient than the Karve from yesterday but, it still has enough to deliver a BBS finish in 3 lovely passes. A unique razor that uses a latch & spring lock system that was quite ingenious in its day.
