This has been weighing on me for too long now…

The current version of “original” Old Spice since it was purchased by P&G in 1990 is almost totally useless as an aftershave and/or a fragrance.
(The newer fragrances of “Old Spice” are for barbarian children.)

Seems to me that at one time, I thought that the OS sold in India was much better…is that true, if one could get some?
Does anyone know where to locate a good version?
Is there any of the old Shulton produced NOS available?
Does some artisan make a high quality dupe?

A few years ago, I bought another totally useless version of OS produced by Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements that was equally as useless as the P&G version.  I threw that one in the garbage.

Any of you gentlemen have other ideas?

Great idea. I would try that. I love the B&M Omnibus!

This topic is near and dear to me. The danger is everyone's nose is different. I have my preferences as i went on a5 year saga to find a dope to the original. I have 6 bottles of the original AFS, and it is sublime.

Top of the heap for me at least:

Stirling Spice
Soap Commander Endurance

Pux that feel short because they were all too' sharp' and not rounded like the original....

Cooper & French Old Goat
Crowne and Crane The Spice
PAA
Mystic Waters
Barrister and Mann
St. Charles Shave Spice
Denton Majik Ole Fife

Thanks TC.
Alas Stirling Spice is, at least for now, a thing of the past.
