I phoned them this morning but they're closed for Memorial Day.

Please let me know what they say (if they decide to take your call Tongue).

I don't know anything for a fact.  There's two parties that do but the rest of us are just speculating.  But like GoHabs said , the packages have been stuck in Frankfurt since May 17.  Who does that?

At some point it will become an insurance claim for Rockwell. I once had an order from B&M end up in Australia rather than in Canada. After 3 weeks B&M resent my order. The Australian bound soap circled the planet for over 8 weeks before showing up mysteriously. There was nothing wrong with the label so I can only assume scanner error or intentional sabotage by a disgruntled USPS employee. I trust that Rockwell will look after everyone based on their past performance.

After 2 weeks of inactivity, I finally received an email update from DHL. I am happy to report that my razor has left Germany and is now in Canada (Toronto). I hope the razor is handed over to Canada Post for the remainder of its voyage.

It still says mine is sitting in Germany, has anyone else have movement on their order?

My 2C has arrived (almost). Canada Post left me a delivery notice yesterday. It's waiting for me at the post office. I will be picking it up tomorrow.

Picked up my 2C today from the post office. Have any other Canadians received their "German" razors?

How's the knurling on the 6C? The 6S has been my go to razor since I got it but I wish the knurling was a little more aggressive. I understand that they received feedback that the original 6S was a little to aggressive and tamed it with the bead blasting.

But if I were in your shoes, I'd be pointing the blame at DHL, not Rockwell. Sure, maybe Rockwell chose poorly, but it seems the onus is on DHL.

You're right the 6S (and 6C) are wonderful, great-value razors. Gareth did his part-making a solid razor. DHL is the screw up here

I just checked my tracking and the package shows as arriving in Canada June 2 - I'm in Alberta so it will likely take some time to get here and it will probably come via Germany. Seriously, nothing would surprise me at this point. I have no issue with the folks that are saying this is a DHL issue and that Rockwell are stand up guys and that may even be true, however, Rockwell has done squat about the issue, not even a communication email to say they'd had technical difficulties so they're wearing this as far as I'm concerned. I still say that Rockwell contracted for the lowest priority service so they could say they were couriering the packages while not spending too much to do it and we got what they paid for.

FWIW Marko, this is from an email I received from the Rockwell Kickstarter on May 30, 2017:

Quote:Shipment-Related Questions
There are always numerous challenges in bringing a new product to market, and as is all-too common with Kickstarter fulfillment, we met our own handful of challenges in the process of getting over 2500 razors shipped out to our backers. Fortunately, the issue-rate has been relatively limited and while we’re confident that most concerns have been addressed at this point, if you have any concerns at all with your pledge reward please be sure to first reach out to us at info@rockwellrazors.com. We understand that your inclination may be to post comments on the Kickstarter comments section, but regrettably we are unable to provide shipping-related support for our backers on that public forum due to privacy concerns.
All the best,

Michael P
