Received this beauty from a fellow wetshaver. Unfortunately it arrived with a few scratches and a dent on the handle. I removed the original coating and polished off the defects. On this picture the handle was already thrice coated with water repellent compound. Any suggestions on how to make the handle waterproof (if it is necessary) are greatly appreciated !

Maybe you can use super glue like Vladimir Ferdman does at LoveYourShave (maybe send it to him) or use Thompson water seal and apply by hand. Glad you scored that brush. I almost scooped it up off the bat myself. Enjoy it and share your thoughts in the thread. Cheers!
