Interesting as have resorted to tweezing nose, ear and eyebrow hairs the last years. May try the wax method. Those averse to tweezing should attempt it; it painless.

Actually, hairs are a protection.
In the nose, they work as a filter.
Better just to trim the outer part.

I had to post that picture. Pretty gross right? Like those razor and lather pictures with black whiskers in the lather.  I promise I won’t post anymore.

What about using one of those little crème brûlée torches?

Quick and effective.

Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

Old man hair routine for me is every Saturday after a Tabac shave[usually].

Ears, neck, eyebrows, nose with various mechanical clippers.

I have tried the wax [purchased Amazon kit]. Works very well-obviating the weekly routine. But I also read that bacteria invasion from the nose is dangerous and there is some evidence that even nose pickers endanger themselves to Alzheimers per the bacteria proximity to the brain. So waxing may be a no-brainer.

Waxing for the ears will continue for me, but probably not the nose.

Being me a pharmacist, I see things from a health prospective.
Outer part it's not a problem. On the ears too. NOT inside.

Lol ROGER that
Would be bad to pour some wax all over the ole eardrum. Would be nice to dampen the shrill commands I get from the ball&chain though.

I was waiting to build up the courage to actually use it and then today I was in the barbershop (new shop because my barber died) and the guy ahead of me had the barber wax his nose hair. It seemed pretty straightforward. So while he’s paying I get up to get in the chair and I tell him that I was watching his nose waxing to see if he would cry like a little girl because honestly, that’s what I’m afraid I might do so he laughs and tells me I should get it done. I tell him no, I’ll try it at home first in case I cry. So he says he’ll buy me a nose waxing so how could I refuse. It actually wasn’t bad at all and did a good job but I’ll probably do it at home next time to save the money. $10 which is a bit steep but I guess there’s the cost of the yuk factor
