Just got the 26x54 brush. Another home run, Rod. I test lathered and the bloom size is very similar to my Chubby 2. Excellent brush for less than $40. Can't wait to see what further releases are in store! Keep up the great work!

I emailed Rod earlier today regarding butterscotch handles and he told me that he has one already in the works. Stay tuned for a 24 mm fan knot with a barbershop style butterscotch handle. He sent me this picture as a nice preview. I already have the 26 mm with 54 mm loft and wanted to get the 24 mm. I may hold out for this bad buy to come in though. Smile

That is indeed great news! I've gotten 4 of the Stirling Badgers so far, 2 24s and 2 26x58s, for myself and for gifts, they are remarkable brushes for the price and very good all-around performers: I can't wait for the butterscotch to be released!

Can you compare the 24 vs 26? Contemplating if I should get the 24 on the site right now.

Hard to pick one over the other. I think I like the handle of the 26mm (the black 54mm loft version) slightly better than the 24mm. The hair seems similar but it is different colored. I actually haven't had a chance to use the 26mm brush yet other than test lathers.

I'm not sure if that gives you any help, but I feel like you could order either based on the description and your preferences and you'd be happy.

I just received my black handled 26mm brush in the mail yesterday, and took it for a spin right away.

One shave in, all I can say is "Holy Shit."

The reviews aren't overblown. This brush absolutely destroys the competition at this price point, and firmly establishes itself as the value king. My hat's off to Stirling - I don't know how they're doing it, but they are. This brush would be great value at double the price. Seriously. I think it outperforms my Razorock Silvertip Chubby (rebranded Zenith), and that was already a steal of a deal at $70.

Can you tell I'm impressed? I'm impressed.

I just placed an order for the 26x58 after owning and loving the 24mm since it was first released. Can anyone who has tried both give me an idea of how differently the brushes feel/perform in comparison to one another? The 24 was my first badger so I don't have much to compare it to, using mostly synthetics up to this point. Rod has never steered me wrong and he mentioned that it was the one of the two new 26's that he said was more his style. He said that the 54 was amazing and receiving great reviews, but I had to choose one.

On a side note, if you are at all on the fence about trying a badger or picking up your 20th, do yourself a favor and grab one (or 3) of these while they are on sale. I can't begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed mine and how much bang for the buck Rod is bringing to the table with these offerings. He really has allowed me to enjoy this hobby much more than I could normally afford to with all of his exceptional products.

Bravo Rod and Mandy.

Ha! That's my picture! Rod sent me that prototype and it's currently making its way around the community. Be on the lookout for reviews here and elsewhere Smile

It is one heck of a brush. If I had paid double for it, I would still be saying the same thing.
