Just grabbed this from Maggard. Was planning to get it direct, but being able to get the latest B&M samples and a current 10% discount was enough to sway me. If I like it enough, I can grab the bath soap and EdT from Spearhead. Let's just hope it doesn't have any unlisted Tobacco in it or it's going up for sale unused.

I started with the Bath Soap and really liked the scent, so I ordered the Shaving Soap and Aftershave direct from Spearhead. This is my first use of Seaforth but I am impressed. The bath soap produces a great lather and scent. The shaving soap lathers easily has a great cushion and leaves a very good residual slickness. The aftershave just enhances the scent from both soaps. Black Watch is a winner in my book!

Thanks, I watched a video review and the reviewer said he got incense and sandalwood off the puck. I don’t mind subtle leather notes but do not like it if it becomes too prominent. I haven’t seen any feedback on the new soap base Dennis used for Black Watch either so if you have any comments on that I’d appreciate it as well. Thanks

The leather note is there but not strong at all. I get more plum and incense than that. I do wish the scent was more pronounced. Based on my two or three uses, I would say that the lather is creamy and slick. Very nice actually.
I purchased this as a set with the aftershave. As I sit here an hour or so after the shave and application of the matching AS, my face is well lubricated. The scent continues on as a very pleasant, rich note.
