Having seen the razor now in a couple of video's I do see the attraction as a unique piece of kit and it is obviously made very well with good quality materials as well as being well finished and having nice accessories to go with it. The problem still remains for me that I would be restricted to just one blade , which is relatively expensive and only available from limited suppliers as far as I can tell. I don't like the idea of subscribing to receive the blades in a standing order basis also the initial price is pretty high for a razor , admittedly which does look a high end piece of kit.
The de or se style razor with a pivoting head is something that has been talked about for a long time in this hobby so I say good luck to them and I wish the new owners many happy shaves with their newly acquired toy but I very much doubt I'll be buying one , as unique as they look and sound.

Just had my first shave with the Oneblade. It is definitely a wonderful shaver. As others have said it is extremely smooth and very safe shaver, not even close to even getting a nick. The handle does need a little time to get use to. Not bad just different. The quality is top notch non better. I am very happy with the purchase, and if you have the money it is definitely worth the purchase. The feedback is great, and though not aggressive it mows down the beard very efficiently.
Goes to the top of the list . the king cobra, mongoose, BBS 1, and now waiting on a pils.

Has no one seen the $150 Beluga Razor that uses traditional DE blades? They are still in pre-order status, but pretty much the same concept. Check them out at www.belugashave.com

I don't see them making much waves in terms of getting many forum members to buy. Then there is the blade subscription and recommendation to change after EVERY shave.

I have zero desire to own one. I also believe the lifetime warranty and being able to pass the warranty on, will be useless in short time if and when they are no longer in business.

As you can see, I have my doubt's.

All evidence has been buried. All tapes have been erased.

The Beluga is ugly. The One Blade is gorgeous.

Just my thoughts. I'm sure they both work.

And, I use a straight, so I've got very little interest in these SE razors. The Mongoose also looks great. And the render for the Falcon also looks good, but the prototype does not. Then again, most renders look pretty darned cool.

Let me get this straight

1.  It's 300 bucks

2.  I have to use certain blades with it regardless if they give me a good shave

3.  You want to sell me a subscription to buy the blades that are for your razor!

Why is this not sparking fury in people?  This is a well made, well looking dollar shave club for wet shavers and I would argue isn't wet shaving because CHOICE IS LIMITED!!! Has anyone figured the math that for this travesty they could get an ikon slant and ATT razor without a monthly subscription....... Holy cow!!!! as my grandpa used to say when he worked for Bell South "you can't make this------ up"

I also see in record time this "premium" razor is up for sale and unlike Italian Barber offerings or Ikon slant offerings no one is chomping at the bit currently to add this to their den.
