New Old Stock Razors

Hi all, I have a silly question. When opening up a package of a new old stock razor, say a super adjustable, etc... does anybody do the whole Barbicide routine or is soap and water and alcohol good enough for a 30 to 49 year old razor still in its original packaging?

If you are planning on using the razor and it has never been used or out of its box then I should think your simple soap, water, alcohol would be enough.
