The wonderful thing about the Menlo is that it's a razor that I feel everybody can be happy with for mild shavers to people who want more aggressive or blade feel. I shaved 2X with the Menlo and both were wonderful smooth and efficient. Blade angle is very easy to find and for $199 it is well worth it. It is very well made. It can be used as an every day shaver as well as mowing down multiple days growth. The only negative comment for me is the handle. I wish it had more texture and was a little lighter. It's definitely a keeper and a razor for all preferences. In his website, looks like only polished one will be available, but I couldn't find any photo of the polished razor.
I would like to get this, cuz it has high gap and holding blade more angled than WR2..

Thanks for the very fair review!
This finish was a pre production machined version that probably won't be offered.  As for the handle, stay tuned. There might be some changes to add more grip and texture before they are released.

4 rubber O-rings would improve the grip on the handle, and improve the looks as well.
You can get them at a hardware store for $1.00 or so.  Try it; you'll like it.  Toodles.

Hopefully Menlo Shaving will agree to a DFS pass around. These DFS passarounds have a history of stimulating sales. I believe I have done 4 DFS passarounds and this has led to my purchasing three times - Carbon, H&S, and Yates razors. Not sure I would have purchased them without the pass around, to be honest.
