I was perusing another forum and noticed a post from Stan of ATT. In production is a new SS DE razor. The head is highly polished and re-designed. The vents will be different and the blade tabs will be covered. The handle will be like the calypso. There will also be a copper version available. Because of the extra labor involved in polishing, it will be slightly more expensive than his current line-up but an exact price was not mentioned.

I love my current ATT razors but have been hoping for an offering with a more "refined" look. This sounds like what I had been hoping for.

Interesting, I thought he just released the SE. I have an ATT S1 and it's pretty good.

Thanks EFDan. That polished one looks great as does the two tone metal.

I will admit that I am biased in favor of ATT. I love every razor I have purchased from Stan (4).

I agree. I love my ATT razors. Until now, they may not have been as flashy as some, but they are high quality smooth shavers.

This explains why the ATT lineup is on sale at Bullgoose.

Surprised the S2 sold out before the S1. The S2 is said to be more picky about blades from what I have read in a lot of reviews.

I saw the other day on B&B an additional 10% of the $150 price. Wonder if they are just not going to carry the ATT line anymore.
