I also appreciate that while others are making limited run razors at higher prices, you are looking for ways to make them more available and cheaper. I think that’s a better long term business strategy as well.
Yea I really don’t believe that $300+ or even $200 razors are the future and it’s certainly not where the big business opportunities are. I’ve always wanted to get the quality of a $200 razor at under $80 and this gets us there without sacrificing a single thing. The Era is actually a lot more capable than CNC razors with the same tolerances and mechanical properties at $75. We’ll also be able to scale to match whatever demand is thrown our way once we open the flood gates. It’s a no-brainer.

good. I'm excited for you, Shane, and kudos for continuing to push the envelope and delivering us with great products at an affordable price.
I'm a frugal, cheap guy, so anything <$100, I'M IN.
I appreciate that! Honestly I think expensive razors are wonderful, but silly. I want to bring incredible quality and performance to the masses at a price that is fair and reasonable. That’s where the growth is and that’s where I want to be.
Obviously there will always be a market for the high end stuff for us hobbyists, but the challenge is driving the price point low enough that you can start competing with Leaf, King C. Gillette, etc. I'm still curious how high the adoption of traditional shaving might go if someone would make a high-quality, affordable DE (that isn't Zamack) and put some marketing behind it the way Supply and a few others have done.
