It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...

I'll support the launch and product. Not because I need it because, I don't and I'm sure many here don't need it either. However, Shane has been a consummate professional in my dealings with him and his products are really well thought out & designed. Never a bad product and customer service is one of the best in the industry. 30 day try & drive trial, you can't lose. I'm in no hurry.

Of course we support Blackland and Shane.
I own, and very much enjoy the Blackland razors that I own.
I don’t question Shawn’s integrity and I applaud his innovation.
I think it’s fair to say that promoting this razor way too far ahead of its release was an error.
So what?
In the end, it won’t matter.

The Era will sell out in 15 minutes.
There will be scurrying to define the various plate offerings.
There will be much discussion about who bought what, unbearable anticipation of the arrival and eventually, a photo of the shiny new prize.
Those who missed out will weep about the restock.

The usual scholarly suspects (I do mean that in the pejorative.) will tell us what we need to know about their shave experience…
The cycle of shaving life will continue.
Imagine a world where wet shaving experts discover a sense of humor…

Pre-orders. I’ll take it. That way I’ll have more of a sense in perhaps of getting it sooner to satisfy my cravings of a splendid instrument of shaving nirvana. Thank you in advance for designing a razor that I believe will be very smooth and efficient stubble terminator (innovative top and bottom blade support). I'm also buying it because of Blackland's reputation in all their razor designs and that speaks for itself. I'm not buying it because it's 3d printed as I hope it won't cause any possible problems (although I doubt any problems of structural integrity, uniform tolerances, etc. will arise). Time happens to be the only enemy of any problem.

I think I saw somewhere (and I don't remember where at this point) that Blackland Razors mentioned to not buy it because it's a 3d printed razor, but for a whole slew of other reasons. I'm buying it because it's a 3d printed steel razor, which in and of itself it bad ass, and well, I like Shane's products, so...

It's a really good razor, 3D-printed or not. It would also still be good at $200.

The time delays are just to create a more sustainable launch. Rather than rushing to trickle out a few at a time, we're building up a decent quantity so it (hopefully) doesn't sell out. Pre-orders will be very short (less than 2 weeks, most likely) and it's just to give us some breathing room for fulfillment so we can dial in those processes for this particular razor and control fulfillment/shipping expectations. Production is funded and most parts are ready so there is little chance for additional delays.

I hear you...don't discount people wanting to buy the razor simply because it's 3d printed though. Tongue

If that's what drives sales, I'll take it.

I’m not buying it because it’s 3D printed. I’ll be buying it because it’s a Blackland. The Blackbird and Vector are a couple of my top razors
