I will be interested to see if Sean gets a response from Phil explaining.....

Frankly, after handling the H&S - witnessing in person it’s devotion to detail and craftsmanship, it holds little appeal. No offence intended. There is a customer base and I not it.
I would have to agree. I have both the original Paradigm 17-4 and the H&S 17-4, and just don't think this new knockoff is likely to be worth its price.

Precisely

I’m definitely fine with hearing what the other buyers have to say. Really. I am very interested to find out if others have a different view. Plus, I’m still waiting to hear Phil's perspective. He’s undoubtedly going to have some insight into whether the razors shipped look and shave like the prototype he’s been shaving with.
Sean, Upstate N.Y.
Let me be as frank as possible in response to the schadenfreude comment
For one, NEVER do I wish nor indulge in pleasure at another’s misfortune. It is terrible form to cheer for an opposing player’s error in sport and particularly grievous to take pleasure from misfortune in another’s life generally. While surely lacking in an untold number of positive attributes, particularly guard against this.
However, pointing out a deficit and calling for accountability quite another matter. An appropriate response if done with solemnity regarding the consequences but the knowledge it necessary.
Finally, I like Phil...a lot. Phil has always treated me more than fairly and, of many people encountered in the field, has always gone out of the way to give me the benefit of the doubt. There is zero malice felt towards Phil, BullGoose nor TSN: if anything there is affection. Of all the people selling, Phil is amongst my favourites.
Finally, I understand Phil’s frustration with this project and even feel some sympathy regarding Andrew’s situation leading to this state of affairs.
It is patently unfair and inflammatory to suggest my comments held ill will towards Phil or even Andrew. In my best of all possible worlds, there would have been a workable solution (and in no way suggesting fault in that matter either).
Gentlemen, I have far too much respect for you to think you were inferring that characterization upon me but felt the need to clarify my perspective.
Thank you for indulging

I could easily wipe it down from one use and sell it as new and let the new owner try to figure out why it won’t shave. Now I know exactly where you are coming from. I wasn't coming down on you....just somewhat agreeing in a circular motion.
More info to come shortly.
This is not going to go well.
