I've been seeing some excellent prices on GSBs and the Plats as well. Are the eBay prices for real? For example, 100 GSBs$16.95 with free shipping. The Plats are more expensive but not unreasonable at all- 100 for about$25.

Anyway, is it known whether or not there are scammers, counterfeits,fraudulent products, etc out there? It is not a matter of money for me, but I do not want to wait for crap. I have already been hit with 250 defective or counterfeit Personna med preps.

Ouch, I had no idea that Personna (Med) Preps were being counterfeited. (Perhaps my favorite blade.) I did hear that their prices are going up soon… So far, I’ve mostly read about counterfeit versions of the most popular Russian-made blades.

As for Platinums, I have read good things about this site, but have not used it, so this is not a personal endorsement but just for your information:

I recently got 100 Plats for $31 and 100 GSBs for $14. Off eBay. I just pick sellers with 100% ratings. Never had an issue.
